The International Society of Air Safety Investigators (ISASI) is an organization dedicated to the promotion of air safety through the exchange of ideas, experiences, and information concerning aircraft accident investigations. Its objectives include enhancing flight safety and advancing technical knowledge by providing professional education. In a significant development, ISASI has expanded its mandate by establishing a new regional chapter in West Africa, named the West African Society of Air Safety Investigators (WASASI).

Mr. Akwasi Agyeibi Prempeh, the esteemed Commissioner of the Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation and Prevention Bureau (AIB Ghana), has recently been appointed as the President of the regional chapter known as WASASI (West African Society of Air Safety Investigators). In this pivotal role, he is tasked with elevating aviation safety standards across the region. His responsibilities will include enhancing existing processes, building organizational capacity, and advocating for the adoption of internationally recognized best practices. These initiatives will be carefully customized to address the specific needs and challenges faced by the West African aviation sector, ensuring a safer and more efficient air travel experience for all.
