
The Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation and Prevention Bureau (AIB Ghana) climaxed its fifth anniversary celebrations with a memorable Dinner and Awards Night, bringing together staff and distinguished guests for an evening of reflection, recognition and renewed commitment to aviation safety.
The event provided an opportunity for the Bureau to look back on its journey over the past five years, highlighting key milestones, institutional growth and its expanding role in strengthening aviation safety oversight in Ghana.
Speakers at the event underscored the importance of professionalism, independence and teamwork in advancing the Bureau’s mandate of investigating aircraft accidents and incidents and issuing safety recommendations to prevent recurrence.










A major highlight of the evening was the presentation of awards to deserving staff members whose dedication, integrity and excellence have significantly contributed to the Bureau’s operational success.
The awards recognised outstanding performance, long service and exemplary commitment to duty.
In his remarks, the Commissioner of AIB Ghana, Mr John Wunborti commended staff for their hard work and resilience, noting that the Bureau’s achievements were the result of collective effort and unwavering focus on safety and accountability.
The Dinner and Awards Night not only celebrated past accomplishments but also reinforced AIB Ghana’s commitment to continuous improvement, institutional excellence and the promotion of aviation safety in the years ahead.
