Aib Ghana Leads Condolence Visit To Hebron Founder After Tragic Aircraft Crash Claims Two Sons

A delegation from the Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation and Prevention Bureau (AIB Ghana), together with officials from the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), has paid a condolence visit to the founder of the Hebron Prayer Camp, Elder Frank Donkor following the tragic death of his two sons in an aircraft crash.

The incident occurred on Monday, March 16, on the premises of the Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA) Daycare Centre.

The AIB Ghana delegation was led by the Commissioner, Mr John Wumborti.

Other members included the Head of Investigation, Captain Paul Forjoe; Head of Corporate Planning, Ms Rebecca Sampson; Facility Manager, Mr Silas Kojo Sam; Assistant Investigator, Mr Mawulolo Alovor; and Corporate Communications Officer, Ms Cecilia Yada Lagba.

During the visit, Mr Wumborti expressed deep sorrow on behalf of the delegation and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. He assured them of the Bureau’s unwavering support in this difficult time and encouraged them to remain strong in the face of the painful loss.

Captain Forjoe also conveyed his sympathies, urging the family to keep their faith in God and draw strength from one another.

Captain Forjoe, who is serving as the Investigator-in-Charge of the ongoing investigations into the crash, assured the family that a thorough and transparent investigation would be conducted.

He emphasised that the primary objective of the investigation is to determine the cause of the accident and to recommend measures that would help prevent similar occurrences in the future.

The delegation concluded the visit by signing a book of condolence and observing a moment of silence in honour of the deceased.
