The commissioner of the Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation and Prevention Bureau (AIB), Mr. Akwasi Agyeibi Prempeh, has led a five member delegation from AIB to Togo-Lome to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Togolese Bureau of Aviation Accident Investigation (BTEA) on cooperation in the field of civil Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation.

The delegation was welcomed by the secretary General for the Ministry for Rail, AIr, and road, Mr. Konilan Tindano and the Director of the Togolese Bureau of Aviation Accident Investigation (BTEA), Colonel Buraima Bonfoh, on behalf of the Minister ofr Rail, Air, and  Road, Mr. Atcha Dedfa Affoh.

The signing of the MOU between the two countries would reaffirm the progressive partnership with new modalities of cooperation in the discipline of Civil Accident and Incident Investigation and Prevention. 

Under he new modalities, the two countries would stretch their cooperation to include exchange of expertise, personnel, training, information and knowledge sharing.

The Hon Minister for Rail, Air and Road, Mr. Atcha Dedfa Affoh, who met the delegation before their departure said, he was much elated to welcome the delegation and hoped the MOU will go long way to help both countries in achieving greater feat.
