The Aircraft Accident Investigation and Prevention Bureau held a consultative workshop on
Thursday, 3rd March, 2022 at the AIB Conference Room. Representatives from the following
stakeholder Institutions were present:

  5. Ghana Civil Aviation Authority

  11. Ghana Health Service
  12. Ghana Disaster Management Organization

The Objective of the workshop was to solicit views for the enhancement of the draft L.I to
reflect changing times, global expectations and the national agenda.
The meeting discussed the 74 provisions of the draft Regulations with participants making
comments and contributions to enhance the document. Clarifications on areas that were not
coherent were provided by the Legislation Drafting Division of the Attorney -General
Department. All the suggestions made were noted and incorporated in the document. Prominent
among the participants was His Lordship Justice Francis Obiri of the High Court.
