On the Wednesday 1st of November 2023, the Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation and Prevention Bureau paid a familiarization visit to Volta River Aviation Limited. The AIB members were welcomed and seated in their conference room, where the meeting took place
The Commissioner of the AIB made it clear to the members of VRAL the need to notify the AIB of any occurrences, which in turn would go a long way to improve safety operations as well as help in investigations. Members of the AIB team also emphasized the for airlines to cooperate with the AIB to ensure a successful working relationship.
The Commissioner of the AIB expressed Gratitude to the members of Volta River Aviation Limited for granting the invitation and being hospitable and was also thankful for their willingness to cooperate with the AIB in carrying out its mandate.
